Crystal Art Deco

Technically glass is a hard, brittle, transparent and amorphous material found in nature, but can also be produced by humans.

The term glass is often used synonymously with glass, although it is wrong in science because the glass is an amorphous solid and not a crystalline solid.

Between the years 1920-1925 a large number of styles and artistic glass was tested techniques. At the same time it became increasing the distance between the glass as a means of artistic expression and glass as a material for domestic use.

With the advent of modern style, in the late twenties of the last century, new uses for glass in furniture design and architecture were discovered. The glass became an essential component of new design aesthetics, centered functionalism.

Among the most prominent teachers of these new trends, we find Maurice Emille Gallé Marinot or, as the most important masters of France, French Art Deco designers produced the widest variety of forms in glass.
